Geographical coordinates published in AIP Poland are in general expressed in terms of the WGS-84 datum according to Annex 15 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation - Aeronautical Information Services, point 3.7.1.1. Geoid undulation is published according to specification of Annex 15 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation - Aeronautical Information Services point 3.7.2.4.

Geographical coordinates shown on all charts in AIP Poland are expressed in terms of the WGS-84 datum.

In order to distinguish geographical coordinates expressed in different datum and/or accuracy, the following method will be applied:

a) geographical coordinates expressed in WGS-84 meeting the accuracy criteria specified by ICAO Annex 11 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation - Air Traffic Services, will be published as follows:

52°19'34.89"N 022°34'37.54"E 52°19'35"N 022°34'38"E

b) geographical coordinates expressed in WGS-84 which do not conform to the accuracy criteria specified by Annex 11 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation - Air Traffic Services will be marked with a single asterisk, e.g.:

52°19'34.89"N* 022°34'37.54"E* 52°19'35"N* 022°34'38"E*

c) geographical coordinates expressed in the local datum will be marked with a double asterisk, e.g.:

53°29'18"N** 020°54'07"E** Source data regarding geographical coordinates expressed in terms of the WGS-84 datum may be obtained from:
