Within the WARSZAWA FIR, flight plans are not required for Schengen flights carried out in uncontrolled airspace under VFR when the Polish borders with the following countries are crossed: Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany and Lithuania.
The above regulation does not exempt airspace users from the
obligation to file flight plans for flights in uncontrolled airspace under VFR when the Polish borders with Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany and Lithuania are crossed, if appropriate regulations of these countries do so provide.
